Starting with February 26th we have Natterjam, hosted by Angels with Dirty Faces. Expect a freestyle jam like you’ve never seen before! With an 8 piece band and all manner of instruments, all budding muscians are welcome!

March brings Burlesque to Natterjacks! Hosted by the gorgeous Venus Star, bringing her own brand of talent to tease and tantalise you Natterjackers, with cocktail specials thrown into the mix!

Thursday the amazing Kev is back with our Open Mic. All you budding musicians keep your eyes peeled for Natterjam on the 26th, as we crank the open mic up a notch with a live, loud 8 piece band!

Friday we’ve got our favourite Mr Malctraz taking over our dancefloor, and the start of our Valentines Specials, Champagne Breakfasts and chocolate coated strawberries galore!

Saturday Tron Carter lands back in NJ after his MINDBLOWING set a couple weeks back. Come down to see what all the fuss is about and prepare to work up a sweat!

From Monday to Tuesday you’ll hear the best in world music, chilled acoustic and nostalgia through the decades to ease you back into the working week. If you’re swinging by for that post work beverage you’ll might even be lucky enough to hear one of our resident DJs sets in the evening!

The middle of the week brings West End Wednesdays with free bar snacks and drinks specials on cocktails, wine & draft. We’ve got the amazing Malcatraz on the decks spinning your favourite chart and classic tunes into the night! Perfect for students and those alike who don’t fancy the trek to Liquid to skyscraper heels!

Thursday is our Open Mic with the charming Mr Kev Black & co. Pop down with your guitar if you reckon you can give our boys a run for their money!

Friday & Saturday are our party nights, with the likes of Psykomantus, Casio Wax, The Boys, Grant Decker and many more, we’ve got a little something for everyone so don’t forget your dancing shoes!

The last Saturday of the month is usually the one to watch for our next big name, but as an extra Christmas present we have one every Saturday through December, aren’t we good to you?

The last Sunday of the Month we mix it up with Unplugged hosted by United Audio, bringing together some great local talent for a whole day of soulful acoustic music.

A great man once said:

“Cocktails are like women, they come in all shapes, sizes and colours, but, just like a women, at the heart of every cocktail there Is a cold, icy centre ready to rip your life apart without a moment’s notice”

That man was me. The Great Andrew Cornelius Groves. I’m 31 years old, overweight, almost homeless and I work in a place named after a toad.

That place is the brick and timber miracle known as NATTERJACKS, situated on Braustone Gate, opposite that HUB place (where all the great unwashed of Leicester go to listen to weird music called “Dubstep” and “Drum and Bass”. Personally I like a bit of Frankie goes to Hollywood, but that’s just me.) and the Obar (you know, where all the cool kids go). Anyway that’s where we are, Braunstone gate (not an actual gate by the way).

When I say we, I am of course talking about myself and my partner (not like that!) Mr Ryan Tailor, self-proclaimed “ROCK LEGEND” and MASTER OF ALL LIQUIDS”. We come together (once again, not like that!) to bring you wonderful concoctions to put in your mouth.

Here’s one of them:

BLACKBERRY CHARGER

5 x Blackberries

25ml Chambord Black raspberry liqueur

12.5ml Olmeca Gold Tequila

12.5ml Monin Green Apple Syrup

12.5ml Fresh Lemon Juice

10ml Vanilla Syrup

Muddle down the blackberries in a cocktail shaker, add the Chambord and the Tequila and shake with the lemon juice, vanilla and apple syrup. Double strain into a short inverness glass and stir with crushed ice and garnish with a cheeky blackberry or a twist of lemon peel.
